General Policies are listed below.

For more details or if you have any questions,

please contact us at passion4musicclarksvilletn@gmail.com.

~Registration Fee: There is a non-refundable registration/processing fee of $35/$50 for two or more students per family.

~Image Release: Pictures and videos from lessons and recitals/performances are often used on the studio website and social media page. This is done only if the parent/guardian signs an image release form provided during registration. Only the student's first name will be used.

~Make-up Policy: If the teacher ever changes a lesson time, the student will receive a different lesson time for a one-on-one private lesson. If the student/parent cancels or changes a lesson for any reason, it will be made up during a monthly Studio Make-up time frame. These are announced well in advance and posted on the band app where studio events are announced. Students can only attend a make-up lesson once a month. These can and often do end up as group sessions with multiple students attending a make-up lesson at the same time.

~Behavior Policy: Parents are fully responsible for their children's behavior when in the studio, in Mrs. Textor's house, and on her property. P4M reserves the right to dismiss any student for destruction of property or failing to cooperate with instruction given by any adult when in Mrs. Textor's home. Parents are responsible for repair or replacement of an items damaged by students, siblings, or their own actions while in the studio, residence, or property.

~Practice Policy: If a student shows up to lessons chronically unprepared, the teacher reserves the right to have the student practice during the lesson time and receive minimal instruction since practicing is supposed to happen AT HOME BEFORE THE LESSON.

~Illness Policy: If a student is unwell enough to stay home from school, he/she should NOT COME TO A LESSON. If the student if just a little "under the weather," a virtual lesson might be a good option. That will be set up as part of registration. Please do not bring sick children into the studio

~Virtual Lesson Policy: While in-person lessons are the preferred choice, virtual/online lessons are a viable option in certain circumstances. These will be be set up as part of the registration process. During virtual lessons, the parent/guardian must be close to assist the student with any technological issues that inevitably arise.

~Punctuality Policy: Students may come into the studio for a private lesson as early as 10 minutes early. For group lessons, they may get to the studio as early as 15 minutes early. Parents who do not attend their child's traditional lesson MUST be available to pick up their child on time at the end of the lesson. THIS IS NOT A BABYSITTING SERVICE. If you are late picking up your child, you could incur a $5/minute late fee with your next month's bill. Children can walk out to your car, or you can come in to pick them up. The studio is not responsible for students' safety when coming to or leaving from lessons.
