BEHIND OUR STUDIO DOORS

Bobbie was born and raised near Washington DC. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester VA in 1989 with a double emphasis on Piano and Clarinet. She completed musical requirements for performance certificates on both instruments.

Shortly after graduation, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and was assigned to the Air Force Band of Flight at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. During this assignment she performed on both instruments, touring the Midwest, the northern United States and Canada. Subsequent assignments include the 111th HI Army National Guard Band near Honolulu and the ANG Band of the South (Atlanta GA). During a four-year period, she was sought after to assist the USAFE Band (Europe), touring with them to several European countries, including England, Spain, Bosnia, and France. In 2016 she completed her Air Force/Army career while stationed at Moffett Federal Airfield near San Francisco, CA, culminating a distinguished and decorated 27-year military career.
